Vacuum drying refers to heating and drying materials under vacuum conditions. A vacuum pump is used to extract air and moisture to maintain a vacuum state inside the working chamber, which greatly accelerates the drying rate of materials and saves energy simultaneously. Vacuum drying equipment is divided into static dryers and dynamic dryers. YZG cylindrical and FZG square vacuum dryers belong to static vacuum dryers, while the SZG double cone rotary vacuum dryer is a dynamic dryer.
Working Principle
Vacuum drying means heating and drying materials under vacuum conditions. A vacuum pump is used to evacuate air and moisture to speed up the drying process.
Note: If a condenser is equipped, solvents from materials can be recovered through the condenser. When water is the solvent, the condenser can be omitted to save energy and investment.
Technical Parameters
Product Features
● Under vacuum, the boiling point of material solution decreases, increasing the heat transfer driving force of the evaporator, which reduces the required heat transfer area of the evaporator for the same heat load.
● Low-pressure steam or waste steam can be used as the heat source for evaporation.
● Low heat loss of the evaporator.
● Materials can be disinfected before drying; no impurities are introduced during drying.
● It is a static vacuum dryer, so the shape of dried materials will not be damaged.
Product Applications
Suitable for low-temperature drying of heat-sensitive materials prone to decomposition, polymerization and deterioration at high temperatures. Widely used in chemical, food, electronics and other industries.
