The double cone rotary vacuum dryer is widely used in production. During vacuum drying, the pressure inside the cylinder is constantly lower than atmospheric pressure. With fewer gas molecules, low gas density and low oxygen content, it can process materials prone to oxidative deterioration and reduce the risk of microbial contamination of materials. Since the temperature of water during vaporization is proportional to its vapor pressure, moisture in materials can vaporize at low temperature under vacuum, realizing low-temperature drying suitable for the production of heat-sensitive materials.
Working Principle
The equipment adopts a double‑cone rotating tank. Under vacuum conditions, heat transfer oil, hot water or steam is fed into the jacket for heating. Water vapor evaporated from heated wet materials is extracted by a vacuum pump through the vacuum exhaust pipe.
The tank is kept under vacuum. Rotation of the tank continuously turns materials up and down, inside and outside, accelerating drying speed and achieving uniform drying.
