The belt dryer is a through-flow continuous drying equipment, used for drying well-aerated flaky, strip and granular materials. It is especially suitable for materials with high moisture content that cannot withstand high temperatures, such as dehydrated vegetables and Chinese herbal slices. This series of dryers features fast drying speed, high evaporation intensity and good product quality. For dehydrated filter cake and paste materials, drying can also be performed after granulation or extrusion into strips.
Working Principle
Materials are evenly spread on the mesh belt by the feeder. The mesh belt is generally made of 12–60 mesh stainless steel wire mesh and driven to move inside the dryer by a transmission device. The dryer consists of several independent units. Each unit has independent hot air circulation; part of the exhaust gas is discharged by a dedicated moisture exhaust fan, and the exhaust flow is controlled by regulating valves. Hot air passes through the material-covered mesh belt either from bottom to top or top to bottom to complete heat and mass transfer and remove moisture from materials.

The mesh belt moves slowly, and its running speed can be freely adjusted according to material temperature. Dried finished products continuously fall into the material collector.
Upper and lower circulating units can be flexibly configured as required by users, and the number of units can be selected based on actual demands.
