DSH Series Double‑Screw Conical Mixer is a new‑type mixing equipment, widely applied for blending various powder materials in pharmaceutical, chemical, feed and other industries. The rotation of each screw is driven by an independent motor and cycloidal pinwheel reducer. Adopting asymmetric twin‑screw agitation, it achieves large mixing coverage and fast blending speed. It is especially suitable for mixing materials with great difference in specific gravity and high mixing ratio.
Working Principle
Two asymmetric spiral blades of the mixer rotate rapidly and lift materials upward to generate two asymmetric spiral material streams flowing upwards along the conical wall. The revolving arm drives the spirals to orbit around the central axis, so materials outside the spirals enter the envelope range of the screws to varying degrees.
Part of the materials are lifted offset, while others are thrown out from the screws. Continuous renewal and diffusion of materials are achieved across the full circumference. The two streams lifted to the top converge toward the central cavity and form a downward material flow to fill the void at the bottom, establishing convective circulation.
Thanks to such complex movements, materials achieve high‑degree uniform mixing within a short period.

● Short mixing time and high efficiency. Production efficiency can be increased by 2‑3 times with large mixing capacity. The filling coefficient is 20‑30 % higher than drum‑type mixers and 25‑40 % higher than V‑type mixers.
● High mixing accuracy and low energy consumption; unit‑weight energy consumption can be reduced by around half. The mixer features low shell height.
● Fast and complete bottom discharge. The bottom outlet can be tightly closed without material leakage. Dead zones for material mixing are minimized.
● Easy equipment cleaning for frequent product change‑over. Maintenance work for bottom bearings is reduced, which facilitates large‑scale equipment design.
